Add your own color.

I'm not sure what to blog about. But I kinda feel like it. So, here I am. Just watched 500 days of summer and it kinda made me want to write.

There's so much to the city that you live in that's left undiscovered - different colors that one never notices. Could be anything, really. I'm of the opinion that a city is best explored on foot. It's kinda what gives you a story of your own to share. Maybe even your own little spot - a park by the lake, a hill overlooking the city, a cafe down the road... your discovery.

Extend that argument a bit, and it holds for things in general. There's power and inspiration in simple things. You're probably the only one who sees it in whatever you discover. So, keep it safe.

You and I live different lives, maybe in different cities, maybe the same. Who cares, though? There's no meaning in a shallow or mirrored existence. Personalize your life, your things, your surroundings. Add your own color. It's what makes you interesting. I certainly believe so.
